1/2 cooked acorn or butternut squash, approx 1 1/2 cups
1 5 oz can evaporated milk
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 tsp pure maple syrup
Pinch of nutmeg & 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Salt & pepper to taste
Put in a Vitamix, starting slow then working up to high
Blend for 4-5 minutes until steam escapes from the lid
If you don’t have a Vitamix you can use an immersible blender
We’re not done yet –
In the Vitamix I put:
1 banana
1 cup blueberries
1 orange
1 stalk of celery
1 peeled carrot
A handful of fresh green bean, stems cut off
Blend all together & enjoy!
