1/4 cup softened butter. (1/4 c = 4 T)
1/4 cup sugar
7 oz almond paste (1 box Solo almond paste)
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla
Beat until creamy
1 sheet puff pastry
Slit to bottom starting about 2 inches from top
Put almond mixture across the top & roll down
Make into a circle & hook ends together
Brush with egg wash & put slivered almonds around dough
Preheat oven to 400 degrees & bake for for 10 min
Turn down oven to 375 degrees & bake another 16-18 min
