2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
3/4 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt

Mix all together & bake in a loaf pan about 25 min in a 375 degree oven

When cooled spread with cream cheese frosting

CREAMED CHEESE FROSTING

Approx 3 cups confectioners sugar
1 stick of softened butter
1/2 lb softened cream cheese
A little milk if needed
