Herbed Basmati Rice

Heat  olive oil in a pan over med high heat.

Add 1 cup uncooked rice & 1 med clove minced garlic until rice is lightly toasted.

Add 1 cup water, 1 cup fat-free chicken broth, 1/4 tsp salt to pan & bring to a boil.  Cover & reduce heat.

Stir in 1/4 cup chopped green onions, 3 Tbls pecorino cheese, 1 Tbls chopped fresh basil, 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme & 1/2 tsp ground pepper
